Sage Rat is a small winery based in the Yakima Valley: the heart of grape growing for Washington State. Sage Rat started in the early days of 2020 with a goal to make young, fresh, fun wines with limited intervention in the winemaking process. Utilizing fruit that is sustainably grown in and around the Yakima Valley, winemaker Dusty Jenkins has the desire to showcase the potential and broaden the horizons for winemaking in this region.
