Lyrarakis is an almost 60 year old family run winery in Central Crete focusing on grape varieties native only to Crete. They saved three grapes from near extinction and actively promote the planting of native varieties on the island. They practice sustainable farming as well as organic and biodynamic farming in certain sites under the larger umbrella of regenerative agriculture.
