The terraced Malmont vineyard is of striking beauty. A well hidden gem in the hillsides above Séguret. Malmont, the official name of the location has very naturally become the name of Nicolas Haeni’s young winery. With Malmont, Nicolas is living his dream of working on a small vineyard and being as close as possible to his land and to be able to express the uniqueness of this terroir. The slope is steep and the ground is rocky at Malmont. A place that is hard to cultivate. This reason is certainly the origin of its name: „mal-mont“.
