Capitello is the inspiration of New Zealander Ray Walsh’s desire to leave behind the corporate wine world and sink his teeth into his own artisan winery, in order to let the creative juices flow. Now with the whole family on board (wife Jen and three kids) Capitello is now producing high quality wines in both New Zealand and Oregon and supporting many small family growers along the way, while staying true to core roots and passion of hands on winemaking.
