What started as a journey to learn more about our ancestry turned into a calling. As longtime food and wine enthusiasts, we were inspired during a visit to Greece and Italy to create Hestia Cellars, where we produce handcrafted wines that bring old world culture to new world families. Our Great Grandparents lived in the small hillside villages of Trikala, Greece and Mattie, Italy. When we traveled to Europe and visited these villages, we experienced a way of life that was distinctly different than ours in Seattle. There we discovered an old world culture where life revolves around food, wine, family, and friends and we wanted to bring that way of life home with us to share with others. We imagined a small, boutique winery where intimate, hands-on production would create quality wines to be enjoyed in the company of friends.

Hestia Cellars wines are produced at our small private estate perched atop the Snoqualmie River Valley with fruit sourced from throughout the Columbia Valley appellation. Named for the goddess of hearth and home, Hestia Cellars is designed for people looking for old world values and quality. We put our heart and soul into every barrel we make, and we are dedicated to sharing this passion for traditional winemaking and enjoyment of wine with as many people as possible.
