Darby Winery was launched with the stellar 2005 vintage. They produced a syrah and a Roussanne /Viognier blend that quickly sold out and resulted in them quickly filling their mailing list. Local winemaker Darby English focuses on finding shy-bearing vineyards and low intervention winemaking techniques to produce wines of elegance and balance. Production will be around 1500 cases and will focus on Syrah, Grenache, Roussanne, Viognier and traditional Bordeaux blends.
