Patton Valley Vineyard

Patton Valley was founded by Monte Pitt and Dave Chen in 1995. They met in the mid-1980s while attending business school in Chicago. In between classes, they found themselves exploring Chicago's legendary wine shops and developing a passion for what they considered the world's finest wine: Pinot Noir.   Having caught "Pinot fever," Monte and Dave pursued their dream of owning a vineyard and making wine. Their search led them to Oregon's Willamette Valley, where they purchased a 72-acre parcel with the ideal combination of soil, exposure and elevation. With the site for the vineyard in hand, they formed Cherry Hill, LLC, the parent company of Patton Valley Vineyard.   At Patton Valley, they are fully committed to running the operation in a sustainable manner. In the 2006 vintage, Patton Valley Vineyards were fully certified as sustainable by the organization LIVE (Low Input Viticulture and Eneology).     In this short video, plesae enjoy a beautiful flyover of Patton Valley Vineyards.
