Domaine Eugene Carrel
Following WWII in 1946 Celestin Carrel, Eugene’s father, returning from captivity, took up an agricultural activity (various cereals and milk cattle). During this period of reconstruction grape growing was not the main activity of the farm and wine production was essentially based on the hillside of Marestel. In the 70s Eugene took over for his father and specialized in wine growing. The buildings which had been used for breeding cattle were converted into wine cellars.
