Casal de Arman

Casal de Arman was founded in the late 1990s by the Gonzalez family, who had been making Ribeiro wines since the 19th century. The property is an 18th century court, located in San Andres, Ribadavia Ourense in Northwest Spain, Galicia. Casal de Arman covers almost 50 acres located within the Ribeiro de Avia region. The elevation ranges from 650 feet above sea level to almost 1,200 feet above sea level. They are dedicated to cultivating indigenous varietals such as white Treixadura, Godello, Loureira, Brencellao, Caino & Souson. Grapes are all handpicked and they are 100% estate wines. It also just so happens that the wine maker, Felicisimo Pereira, is the new president of the Ribeiro appellation!
