Capitello Wines

Traditionally, Capitello refers to the Italian shrine that hosts a statue of a saint or Mother Mary and is positioned in a vineyard to bless the vines and the people who live within the vineyard. Choosing the Capitello name instead of the family name to define our brand was Ray’s way of abandoning any ego inherent to the industry. Capitello's image symbolizes Ray’s unique characteristics; a “New World” winemaker from under the Southern Cross, bringing new ideas, a new approach, and a refreshing style of craft.
