Airfield Estates’ story begins preceding World War II, when the Olympic Transport Company established an air base at the foothills of the Rattlesnake Mountains near Sunnyside, WA. Seeing the agricultural promise of the location, H. Lloyd Miller purchased the air base at auction and for four generations the Miller family has farmed the surrounding area. Airfield has been a pioneer in the wine grape industry, planting its first premium vines in 1968 with most of that being sold to Chateau St. Michelle until recently. With the newly constructed winery located in Prosser, their passion for excellence now extends into wine making. Airfield Estates takes great pride in the quality of fruit sourced from their 750 acre vineyard and hope that you enjoy every drop.
